Our Mission

Enabling members to Do Better Business in Defence

The Australian Defence Alliance Victoria (ADA-Vic) is Victoria's Defence Industry Association and a founding member of Australia’s largest independent defence advocacy body, representing dual-use Small to Medium Enterprise (SME).

Defence SME

At present, ADA-Vic enables more than 700 businesses consisting of SMEs, Professional Service Providers and Educational Institutions involved in supplying and supporting Defence capabilities.  Additionally, we are a major contributor to the 1,100 + members of the ADA across Australia.

Defence Primes

Becoming a member of ADA-Vic, enables a business to have a number of opportunities to be presented to and introduced to the Primes that operate in Australia. This also allows the Primes the ability to gain direct access and visibility to potential supply chain partners.  
For our SME members, this relationship provides the ability to interact with Primes in an environment tailored to the specific needs of our community, through specific briefings, networking events and specialised forums.

Government

ADA-Vic has successfully established relationships and communication with key defence industry stakeholders, meaning we have a direct voice into the policy arena. The Commonwealth and Defence Primes recognise ADA-Vic's leadership in the industry. We are respected for our advice, which is considered a credible source for making better policy for Australia and industry. 

The feedback loop with all stakeholders including our SME members creates this knowledge and credibility.
